Sake brewer`s challenge II-Sake&Beer making in Kyoto, Japan

Next day in Kyoto, I also visited a different sake brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto. Fushimi is located at the southern part of Kyoto, and very famous for the production of sake. You can find many wells, which local use water for their living, and sake breweries in the city!! Fushimi also has a water canal, and used as a logistics to the centre part of Kyoto.

Nowadays you can visit brewery-tours at each sake breweries, and try sake tasting at the end of brewery-tour. I visited `Kizakura`which is one of the famous and biggest breweries in Fushimi, and their pretty brand is Kappa which is a man-made character. As I do not drink sake, I went to the brew restaurant next to the brewery. They had a nice selection of beers (around 4 beers), and one of the beers are made from rice called `Yamada-Nishiki`. That captures sake brewery's beers as you know, sake is also made from rice. This experience is also highly recommended!!
