Real Ale Rail Trail between Manchester and Leeds- It's the practice of ale tourism!!

This is the practice of ale tourism!! I tried a real ale trail between Manchester and Leeds. You can enjoy nice real ales on platforms at railway stations, which is very interesting experience!!

In England, it is usual to have pubs on platforms at railway stations. As I showed you on this blog, I have visited some pubs such as Sheffield Tap, Harrogate Tap. There are York Tap at York raikway station, Euston Tap at Euston station and Leeds Tap near Leeds railway station. Not only these taps, there are many pubs at platforms on local railway stations. They are for both travellers and locals.

This is the very good example of destination resource to promote both local ales and destinations. Not only travellers but also locals are able to enjoy nice beers, especially travellers who just come across or change another trains may be prospective customers in the future. Of course, locals repeat their visit to enjoy beers.

I wish we will have these types of pubs on platforms at Japanese railway stations!!
