After my work at York Beer Festival, I visited my friend in Harrogate. Although I was satisfied with real ales at York, I am always happy to find nice pubs and beers in local areas. Harrogate is located near the big cities such as Leeds, York and national park 'Yorkshire-dales'. This is a very traditional English town in West Yorkshire with lime stones houses, which is one of my favourite English landscapes.
As the same as Sheffield, they also have their tap on the platform at their railway station, which is very practical and one of visitor attractions in the town. People can wait for their trains at the pub with nice local beers! It seems like Soba-ya (noodle bars) at Japanese railway stations. I believe something local selling at stations is more contributing to introduce the tosn's uniquness to visitors!!
