Brewery Visit at Portobello brewery in London-Sampling a nice 'Pale Ale' from their cask!!

After my parents left London, I headed down to Portobello brewery near White City-it was near the area I used to live for my work placement from Aug to Dec, 2013. Although Portobello brewery was established in 2012, their 'Portobello Pilsner' and Portobello 'Star' are everywhere in London.

I met a brewing director, Rob-he has been to Japan, and surprisingly he got the idea of Portobello Pilsner from 'kirin', Japan!! That's why my parents tried and liked them as they said it was more likely Japanese lager. No wonder-I am a beer girl as i was born from 'beer' parents!! He is working with from freehouses to global companies-I guess the day we can see 'Portobello Pilsner' and other ales in the 'Notting Hill Carnival' is coming soon!? I am highly expecting!!

After the interview, I was very thirsty and he tapped his Pale Ale to me!! It was very fresh. I really appreciated him as he was extremely busy before the Ealing Beer Festival-his brewery was having their beer bars.
