Le IPA?? Yes, Tour de France Grand Départ 2014 is coming soon!! Did you know their opening/departure is from Leeds, in the Yorkshire on 5th of July?
Le IPA is brewed by Saltaire Brewery in the West Yorkshire and Dark Star in the West Sussex-the collaboration of breweries!! I have not tasted it yet, but fortunatelly got it at Dark Star today. Not only Le IPA but also many beers are brewed by other breweries, especially in the Yorkshire as it is a big regional event for them.
It is called 'Beer tourism', which beers are utilised for their tourism and markting opportunities!! England is famous for football, but cycling is quite popular. They have lots of opportunities to promote 'real ales', don't they??
I will miss the opening of Tour de France as a reason-do you know why? Get back to my blog in two weeks!!
